New Luther Vandross documentary released

Luther: Never Too Much

A new documentary film charting the life of 80s and 90s soul legend Luther Vandross has been released in the United States.

"Luther: Never Too Much" - from director Dawn Porter - uses rare archive to tell the story of his career, with appearances from friends and musical collaborators including Mariah Carey, Dionne Warwick, Valerie Simpson and Roberta Flack.

According to the team behind the film, it "relives the many stunning moments of Luther’s musical career, while exploring his personal life, health struggles and a lifelong battle to earn the respect his music deserved".
